In 'A Concepção', a group of affluent young adults in Brazil form an unconventional movement called 'Conceptionism'. Résumé
'A Concepção' is a Brazilian drama film directed by José Eduardo Belmonte in 2005. The movie centers around a group of bored, wealthy young adults who create an anarchic lifestyle called 'Conceptionism'. This movement encourages uninhibited behavior regarding sex and drugs but discourages material wealth and individual ego. The themes of sexual liberation, rebellion against societal norms, and the ephemerality of radical ideologies are explored through this group's experiences.
