Synopsis
On New Year's Eve in London, four strangers independently decide to end their lives by jumping off a high-rise known as Topper's Tower. These individuals are Martin, a disgraced TV presenter; Maureen, an isolated single mother; Jess, a foul-mouthed teen; and JJ, an American musician. Coincidentally, they all meet on the roof and decide to call off their plans for six weeks after forming a bond. They agree to meet regularly at Topper's Tower, trying to find reasons to live until Valentine's Day. As the 'Topper House Four,' they become media sensations, drawing paparazzi attention while attempting to navigate their personal issues and form an unconventional family.

Résumé
A Long Way Down (2014), directed by Pascal Chaumeil, is a black comedy-drama based on Nick Hornby's novel of the same name. The film explores themes of depression, suicide, and redemption through its ensemble cast of characters, each struggling with their own personal crises. Set in London, the movie follows an unlikely group of friends who meet while attempting suicide on New Year's Eve and decide to delay their plans for six weeks.
