Synopsis
After suffering a miscarriage in her third trimester, Joana travels to Peruibe, a coastal town known for UFO sightings, seeking solace and distraction. One night, she has a brief encounter with a stranger whom she accidentally hits and kills with her car the following morning. Stricken by guilt and grief, Joana forms an unlikely bond with Maria, the victim's wife, who believes her husband was abducted by aliens. As Joana becomes more entwined in Maria's life and beliefs, she begins to experience strange occurrences that suggest something otherworldly may indeed be at play.
