Synopsis
In 'A Summer Story', set in England in 1904, Mr. Ashton, a young lawyer from London, and his friend are hiking across Dartmoor when Ashton twists his ankle, forcing them to seek help at a nearby farmhouse. Ashton stays there for a few days, where he meets Megan David, an innocent beauty who lives on the farm with her aunt and her loutish son. Ashton is captivated by Megan and decides to stay longer, eventually falling in love with her despite the displeasure of Megan's aunt and son. Before leaving the farmhouse, Ashton vows to return for Megan.
