Synopsis

In the summer of '75 in Sines, Portugal, Al Berto, a young gay artist, struggles to find acceptance for his sexuality and artistic expression in a small town still adjusting to the aftermath of the Carnation Revolution that ended Portugal's dictatorship system. Despite living amidst communist winds and being surrounded by friends who embody hope for the future, Al Berto faces homophobia as he navigates his love story.
