Synopsis
In the summer of 1633, a soldier is tasked with guarding a corpse at the gallows. The area is rumored to be plagued by witches who steal corpses for their rituals. When the soldier falls asleep and awakens to find the body missing, he panics and flees into the forest. There, he encounters a seductive woman who leads him back to her house. As the night progresses, lust, fear, and delusion intertwine while the mysterious woman offers an unexpected solution to the problem of the vanished corpse.

Résumé
'Am Galgen' (2008) is a historical horror film set during the witch trials era in Europe. The story revolves around a soldier who, after falling asleep on guard duty at the gallows, becomes entwined in a web of supernatural events and seduction when he encounters an enigmatic woman in the forest.
