Histoire
Criminal psychiatrist Jake Nyman embarks on an experimental road trip where every decision is made by flipping a coin. Meanwhile, Sandra Thomas, a disenchanted professional, is traveling to pick up her sister Alice at a motel before visiting their ailing mother. After being forced off the road by an unknown assailant, Sandra meets Jake who picks her up. Jake's amoral attitude, dictated by his coin flipping decisions, intrigues Sandra, and they begin a romance driven by chance acts of crime and kindness. However, Sandra suddenly disappears, and Jake unwittingly picks up Alice, Sandra's suspicious sister.
