Synopsis
In early 18th century Europe, an African slave boy named Angelo is chosen by a European Comtesse to be baptized and educated. Upon reaching adulthood, Angelo achieves prominence in Viennese society, becoming a court mascot. However, he secretly marries a white woman.

Résumé
