Synopsis
Nine vacationing friends find themselves in a remote cabin at Cutter's Creek for their annual getaway. Unbeknownst to them, they've chosen a location that's been shrouded in legend - the tale of an axe-wielding killer who reportedly claimed many lives there years ago. As night falls on their first evening, one by one, the friends begin to disappear, each meeting a gruesome end at the hands of the axeman from the local lore. The remaining friends must band together and survive the night if they hope to escape with their lives.

Résumé
Axeman at Cutter's Creek is a 2013 horror film directed by Joston Ramon Theney, set in the titular remote location. The movie centers around a group of nine twenty-somethings who unwittingly become prey for a legendary axeman while on vacation. Drawing inspiration from classic slasher films and urban legends, 'Axeman' plays with the fear of the unknown and the unsettling notion that danger can lurk even in the most seemingly idyllic settings.
