Histoire
Antonio, who spoils his mute brother and promises him a better life symbolized by Baton Rouge, moves in with Isabel, a wealthy woman separated from her husband. He encourages Isabel to consult Ana, a young psychiatrist, after she starts having nightmares about rape. During an office visit, Ana catches Antonio stealing a blank check signed by Isabel. Ana then convinces Antonio to participate in a scheme where they make it seem like Isabel has killed her husband during one of her nightmares. The plan goes smoothly until Antonio sees the body and realizes it's not Isabel's husband as he had believed. Now, he must figure out whose game he is truly a pawn in.

Bâton rouge (1988) is a Spanish thriller directed by Rafael Monleón. The film revolves around Antonio, a gigolo who moves in with wealthy Isabel to improve his mute brother's life. When Isabel starts having disturbing nightmares, Antonio encourages her to see Ana, a psychiatrist. After catching Antonio stealing from Isabel, Ana ropes him into an elaborate blackmail scheme involving Isabel and her husband. However, things take a sudden turn when the body intended for the plot is not who they expected it to be.
