Story
Henry, a loner with a rare skin disease that prevents him from being exposed to sunlight, lives with his overprotective mother in Battlecreek, a small Southern town. He works night shifts at a gas station and spends his nights swimming in the creek under the moonlight. His life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Alison, a young woman whose car breaks down in Battlecreek. Alison answers a 'help wanted' sign at the diner to pay for her car repairs. Henry is immediately drawn to Alison, who shows him that there's more to life than his sheltered existence. As they grow closer, Alison helps Henry break free from his past and live a life he never thought possible, even if it means losing his mother.
