Synopsis
Walter Black, CEO of a toy company, suffers from severe depression and begins using a beaver hand puppet to communicate with his family. His son Porter becomes concerned about his father's mental health and pushes for his parents' divorce.

Résumé
Directed by Jodie Foster, 'Beaver' is a dramatic exploration of a family dealing with depression and communication issues. The film centers around Walter Black, played by Mel Gibson, who uses a beaver puppet to express himself due to his struggle with mental illness. His teenage son Porter, played by Anton Yelchin, becomes the catalyst for change in their family dynamics as he witnesses his father's descent into despair.
