Synopsis
In Ohio, Paul D., an old friend of Sethe, moves in with her and her daughter Denver. Soon after, a mysterious young woman named Beloved arrives at their doorstep. Sethe and Denver, despite knowing nothing about her, take her in. Strange occurrences start happening around the house once Beloved is present.

Résumé
Beloved (1998) is a film directed by Jonathan Demme based on Toni Morrison's novel of the same name. The movie follows former slave Sethe and her daughter Denver living in Ohio after escaping slavery. The story takes a mysterious turn when an enigmatic young woman named Beloved appears at their doorstep, bringing with her unsettling events.
