Synopsis
American journalist J.J. arrives in Brazil during Carnival to investigate brutal murders of street kids from favelas. She learns about Boca, a charismatic crime lord known for his golden teeth and savior-like rescues, who becomes her key informant for the story. Despite warnings that Boca is dangerous, J.J. becomes infatuated with him and his lifestyle, even as he plays mind games with her.
