Synopsis
The movie 'Boy in Blue' (1986) begins with Ned Hanlan, Canada's most successful sculling champion at the turn of the 20th century, being informally adopted by a gambler who uses his rowing skills to make money. Later, a ruthless businessman named Knox takes over Ned's career but Ned leaves him after discovering his dishonesty. Ned then finds Walter, an inventor and honest manager, who helps him rise to great success in the sculling world.
