Synopsis
In the inner-city neighborhood of London, a successful landscape architect named Will (Jude Law) has an affair with Amira (Vera Farmiga), a Bosnian woman who was widowed during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Their relationship develops amidst the backdrop of Will's involvement in a petty theft operation alongside his associates, Miro (Ben Miles) and Terry (Ralph Fiennes). When they break into Amira's home under the impression that she is not there, they unwittingly become connected to her family. The story explores the consequences of their actions as it intertwines with Amira's life and the dynamics of her troubled son, Zach (Roque Machado).
