Synopsis
In the mid-70s in coastal Australia, two teenage boys, Pikelet and Loonie, grow up in a small town, yearning for excitement and adventure. They meet Sando, a mysterious older adventurer who teaches them surfing lessons. Under his guidance, the boys learn to take risks and push their limits, both physically and emotionally. Alongside this newfound love for surfing, Pikelet becomes involved in an affair with an older woman named Eva, while Loonie struggles with feelings of jealousy and abandonment.

Résumé
Based on Tim Winton's award-winning novel, 'Breath' is a coming-of-age story set in the 1970s Australian coastal town. The film follows two teenage boys as they form an unlikely friendship with Sando, a charismatic older adventurer who introduces them to the thrill of surfing. Through their experiences with Sando and the local surf culture, Pikelet and Loonie learn valuable lessons about life, risk-taking, and the complex nature of masculinity. However, these newfound experiences also lead them down paths of reckless behavior and emotional turmoil.
