Synopsis
A parasitic alien hitches a ride inside a crash victim and infiltrates a hospital, jumping from one patient to a candy striper volunteer. This infected candy striper begins predating on men for sex and women to spread the alien infection further. Among the patients at the hospital are short high school basketball players who witness these horrifying events unfold. As more people become infected, developing an insatiable sweet tooth and cannibalistic tendencies, a lockdown is enforced by the CDC. The basketball players and some friends attempt to escape the hospital but soon realize that the infection has spread too far and their chances of survival are slim.

Candy Stripers (2006), directed by Kate Robbins, is a horror-sci-fi film about an alien parasite wreaking havoc inside a hospital. The story follows short high school basketball players who become unwitting witnesses to the horrifying events caused by this invasive species. As the infection spreads and turns people into cannibalistic sweet-toothed creatures, chaos ensues within the confined walls of the hospital. Robbins explores themes of contagion, survival, and male predation through a female perspective.
