Résumé
Chain Letter (2009) is a horror-thriller film directed by Deon Taylor that explores themes of friendship, trust, and the dangers of modern technology. The movie follows six friends who receive a mysterious chain letter via text message and email from an unidentified sender claiming that failure to forward it will result in death. As the friends try to uncover the identity of the sender and find themselves entangled in his deadly game, they learn that breaking the chain has dire consequences. Despite its reliance on older technology like flip phones, Chain Letter serves as a cautionary tale about the power dynamics and threats lurking within seemingly innocuous digital communications.
