Histoire
Christabel, the only daughter of a rural worker, encounters Geraldine, a mysterious woman who claims to have been attacked by men and needs help. Christabel, pure and innocent, welcomes Geraldine into her father's house in the rural zone of Goiás, Brazil. From then on, Geraldine has a great influence over Christabel, destabilizing her convictions and promoting a rupture with traditions. However, this also brings feelings of passion and freedom that Christabel has never experienced before. The story is an adaptation of Samuel Taylor Coleridge's poem 'Christabel' (1816), set in the Goiané region instead of England.
