Synopsis
Cobb (1994) recounts the life and career of baseball legend Ty Cobb, focusing on his later years as he commissions sportswriter Al Stump to co-write his authorized autobiography. Cobb, widely feared and despised due to his aggressive playing style and tumultuous personal life, aims to set the record straight about his legacy. As they work together, Stump struggles with the ethical implications of writing a sanitized version of Cobb's life, especially regarding his violent tendencies and possible involvement in his wife's murder.

Résumé
Directed by Ron Shelton, 'Cobb' is a biographical drama centered around one of baseball's most controversial figures. Set primarily in Lake Tahoe during the 1960s, the film explores Cobb's Georgia roots, his Hall of Fame career, and his desire to leave behind a more favorable public image.
