Synopsis
Max Simkin, a disillusioned cobbler in New York City's Lower East Side, runs his family's shoe repair shop. He discovers an old heirloom shoe that magically allows him to step into the lives of his customers when he tries their shoes on. Through this ability, Max learns about their problems and experiences their lives firsthand, gaining empathy and self-awareness.

Résumé
Cobbler is a heartwarming comedy-drama directed by Tom McCarthy, set in New York City's historic Jewish neighborhood of the Lower East Side. The film follows Max Simkin, played by Adam Sandler, who runs his family's cobbler shop while feeling stuck and unfulfilled in life. When he finds an enchanted shoe among old heirlooms, it grants him the ability to temporarily inhabit the lives of his customers by wearing their shoes. This unique predicament teaches Max valuable lessons about others' struggles and helps him appreciate his own existence.
