Résumé
Two friends, Witold and Fuchs, flee city life after career setbacks, seeking solitude at a remote guest-house. Soon, their peaceful retreat turns ominous as they notice a series of disturbing incidents: birds and wood hangings, mysterious signs appearing indoors and out. The house's sinister atmosphere is amplified by the maid's hostile glare and Witold's instant obsession with the young mistress, whose marriage doesn't deter his advances. As tensions mount, Witold's desperate act - hanging the cat - hints at a dark trajectory. Will this series of eerie events culminate in human tragedy?
