Déjà Vu tells the story of Mihai, a man going through a midlife crisis who has been married for fifteen years. In an attempt to regain control over his life, he starts an affair with another woman. Despite being the main character, Mihai is never seen onscreen; instead, his personality and actions are conveyed through the perspectives of his mistress, mother, wife, gestures, and attitude.

Déjà Vu is a Romanian-German drama directed by Dan Chisu in 2013. The film explores themes of midlife crisis, marital infidelity, and personal redemption through its protagonist Mihai, who attempts to reclaim control over his life after fifteen years of marriage.
