Histoire
In the height of the Spanish Inquisition, a series of unexplained and violent murders of high-ranking noblemen occur with alarming frequency. Sheriff Ruy de Mendoza is tasked with investigating these crimes but faces obstacles as crime scenes are mysteriously cleared before he can examine them and villagers deny any knowledge of the incidents. Mendoza must navigate this web of deceit while also dealing with the possibility that the crimes may be tied to his family, forcing him to choose between his conscience and protecting his loved ones.
