Histoire
In an unnamed South American country recently emerged from dictatorship, Paulina Escobar, a political activist, suspects her neighbor and guest, Dr. Miranda, to be the same man who tortured and raped her while she was blindfolded during the former regime. When a storm forces Paulina's husband Gerardo, a prominent lawyer, to ride home with Dr. Miranda, Paulina takes this opportunity to confront and detain Miranda at their house. Paulina is driven by her conviction that Miranda must be punished for his past crimes, while Gerardo struggles between supporting his wife's beliefs and upholding the law. Throughout the night, they interrogate Miranda, attempting to extract a confession from him. Meanwhile, Miranda maintains his innocence but refuses to cooperate further due to humiliation.
