Synopsis
Delusion (1991) begins with a computer expert embezzling half a million dollars and fleeing to Reno in his car. Along the way, he picks up two hitchhikers: a pretty Las Vegas showgirl and her seemingly goofy boyfriend. However, the boyfriend is revealed to be a professional killer who takes control of the situation, leaving the man alone in the desert to die while they pursue his stolen money. The man survives and hits the road again, determined to exact revenge and recover his money before the couple does.

Résumé
Directed by Carl Colpaert in 1991, 'Delusion' is a neo-noir thriller that follows a high-stakes game of deception and survival on the open Nevada highway. With its fast-paced narrative and noirish undertones, the film explores themes of trust, betrayal, and the consequences of one's actions. Despite limited plot details from sources, 'Delusion' stands out as an intense tale of revenge set against the backdrop of a dangerous road trip.
