Der 7. Tag begins with Sybille Thalheim waking up in a mysterious hotel room, finding her husband Michael brutally murdered beside her and a bloodstained knife in her hand. She has no memory of what happened. As the police arrive, Sybille must confront the horrifying reality that she may be the prime suspect in Michael's murder.

Der 7. Tag is a German thriller TV movie directed by Roland Suso Richter and released in 2017. The film opens with a gripping and unsettling scene as Sybille Thalheim, played by Stefanie Stappenbeck, awakens to find herself in an unfamiliar hotel room with no memory of the previous night's events. Her husband Michael lies dead beside her, and she holds a bloodstained knife in her hand.
