Synopsis
Chicago advertising executive Charles 'Chaz' Schine finds himself in an affair with Lucinda Harris after she pays his train fare one day. They meet up at a hotel where they are robbed and assaulted by Frenchie LaRoche, who blackmails Chaz for money. Desperate to protect his family from the truth of his infidelity, Chaz pays Frenchie but this only escalates the situation. Meanwhile, Lucinda's true identity is revealed as part of an elaborate setup. In a desperate attempt to end things, Chaz brings along office mail boy Winston Boyko to scare off Frenchie, but Winston ends up shot. With no legal recourse and more demands from Frenchie, Chaz must navigate a deadly game of blackmail and revenge.
