Synopsis
Disobedience follows Ronit (Rachel Weisz), an Orthodox Jewish woman who returns to her London home after learning of her father's death. Upon arrival, she rekindles romantic feelings for her childhood friend Esti (Rachel McAdams), now married to Ronit's cousin Dovid (Alessandro Nivola). Despite their Orthodox backgrounds and community norms, the two women explore the boundaries of their faith and sexuality.
