Synopsis
Years following the events of 'The Shining', Dan Torrance (Ewan McGregor), still haunted by his past at the Overlook Hotel, uses his psychic power called 'the shine' to survive as a drifter. He meets Abra Stone (Kyliegh Curran), a teenager who also possesses the shine and is being hunted by a cult known as The True Knot, led by Rose the Hat (Rebecca Ferguson). The True Knot feed on the life force of 'shiners' to survive. Dan must overcome his fears and demons to protect Abra from theTrue Knot.
