Synopsis
Ekaterina (series), set in the 18th century Russian empire, follows the life of Catherine the Great, originally Princess Sophia Frederica of Anhalt-Zerbst, who arrives in Russia as a bride for the feeble-minded Tsarevich Peter III, chosen by his aunt Empress Elizabeth Petrovna.
