Histoire
In mid-1950s Argentina, Sulamit, daughter of German-Jewish refugees, and Friedrich, son of German-Nazi refugees, become close friends. They grow up together amidst political turmoil, from the fall of Perón's government in 1955 to the Dirty War of 1976-1983. As adults, they move to Germany where Friedrich becomes involved in left-wing politics and decides to return to Argentina to fight against the military government. Despite their separation and Friedrich's political commitments, Sulamit's love for Friedrich remains. Years later, their bond is reignited.
