Histoire
The story begins with Antoine promising Juliette, an orphaned girl living in St. Tropez, that he would take her away from the town after she wanders onto a yacht owned by Eric, a wealthy man. However, Antoine leaves without keeping his promise, causing Juliette to feel betrayed and identifying herself with a rabbit she had set free earlier. Later, Antoine's younger brother Michel proposes marriage to Juliette as a way to rescue her from being sent back to the orphanage. She accepts the proposal. Meanwhile, Eric becomes interested in acquiring the brothers' shipyard for his casino project and brings Antoine back to St. Tropez. This sets off a chain of events that complicates their lives.
