Synopsis
Joel Barish discovers that his former girlfriend, Clementine Kruczynski, has had him erased from her memory after a tumultuous relationship. Heartbroken and jealous, Joel decides to undergo the same procedure offered by Lacuna Inc., a company specializing in memory manipulation. However, as he watches his memories of Clementine fade away during the operation, he realizes that he still loves her. He tries to sabotage the procedure to preserve their memories together, but it's unclear if he succeeds.
