Histoire
In early 18th century England, Queen Anne (Olivia Colman) rules with her close friend and confidante, Lady Sarah Churchill (Rachel Weisz). Sarah manages the country's affairs while tending to Anne's health and mercurial temperament. When Abigail Masham (Emma Stone), Sarah's cousin, arrives at court seeking employment, she quickly endears herself to Sarah, who takes her under her wing.
