Synopsis
George Simmons, a wealthy and successful comedian, receives shocking health news from his doctor, forcing him to reevaluate his priorities and relationships. He discovers Ira Wright, an aspiring comedian with a troubled past, and takes him under his wing. George's former protege and now nemesis, Leo, becomes jealous of George's newfound friendship with Ira. George decides to stage a comeback comedy tour, during which he reconnects with his ex-girlfriend Laura, who is now married to another man.
