Histoire

In a dystopian future desert town, ruled by a repressive government that outlaws all artistic expression, Theo risks his life every night to paint his rebellious art on public spaces. His courageous acts put him at odds with the authorities who impose severe penalties for such defiance. When Theo's lover Elia is arrested for the same crime, Theo decides to turn himself in hoping to find a way to reunite with her. The narrative follows Theo's journey through this oppressive regime and his desperate attempts to save Elia.

Résumé

Furia, directed by Alexandre Aja, is set in a post-apocalyptic world where freedom of expression has been violently suppressed. At its core, the film explores the themes of rebellion, love, and sacrifice in the face of tyranny. Theo's art serves as an act of resistance against the totalitarian regime, symbolizing hope amidst despair. The story also delves into the power dynamics between individuals and the state, questioning who truly holds the power when people refuse to be silenced.
