Synopsis
After a three-year hiatus since the events of 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo', hacker Lisbeth Salander finds herself entangled in a web of intrigue after being tasked to retrieve a dangerous computer program. This act places her at odds with various factions including corrupt government officials, cybercriminals, and even the NSA. Meanwhile, Lisbeth's past begins to catch up with her as she grapples with the consequences of her actions.

Résumé
Directed by Fede Álvarez, 'Girl in the Spider’s Web' is a sequel to David Fincher's 2011 film adaptation of Stieg Larsson's novel series featuring Lisbeth Salander. The movie follows the antisocial yet brilliant hacker as she navigates through Stockholm, seeking justice for herself and others while being hunted by various powerful forces due to her possession of Project FireFall – a powerful tool designed to breach online defense systems.
