Synopsis
A wealthy Japanese businessman, Jodhiyashu, travels to Australia with the intention of purchasing a 1967 Citroën DS. Upon arrival, he discovers that the seller and his wife have died, leaving behind their blind daughter, Deirdre. Despite this unexpected turn of events, Jodhiyashu decides to embark on a journey through the Australian outback alongside Deirdre in search of the car's original owner. The trip takes them five days and also serves as an exploration into Deirdre's past and her family history.

Résumé
Directed by Clara Law, 'Goddess of 1967' (2000) is a drama that blends elements of comedy and romance. The film follows Jodhiyashu, a young Japanese businessman who travels to Australia with the sole purpose of buying a vintage Citroën DS. However, his plans are disrupted when he finds the seller deceased, leaving behind their blind daughter. As Jodhiyashu accompanies Deirdre on a journey through the Australian outback in search of the car's original owner, they both embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing.
