Synopsis
In 'Goodbye, Columbus', a young Jewish man and woman meet and are initially attracted to each other despite their different backgrounds. The woman, Neile, is an archetypal Jewish American Princess who is deeply immersed in her parents' world, while the man, Bruce, is less dependent on his family. They begin an affair which brings more differences between them to the surface.
