Synopsis
Tôyama, a businessman deeply in debt to the Yakuza, agrees to let them kidnap his wife Shizuko, Japan's queen of the tango, to satisfy his debts and a compromising video they hold over him. After attending a masked ball, Shizuko is taken prisoner by the Yakuza boss, known for his voyeuristic tendencies. Despite her initial resistance, she submits when her bodyguard Kyôko's life is threatened. Tôyama later regrets his decision and tries to buy back Shizuko, but it remains unclear whether she wants to be rescued or if she's adapting to her situation.
