Synopsis
In 'Hardcore', a stern Calvinist businessman from Grand Rapids, Michigan named Jake Van Dorn discovers that his teenage daughter, Niki, has run away to Los Angeles without any trace. Desperate to find her, he travels there and hires a private detective who leads him into the city's sordid underworld of pornography. Jake witnesses the gritty reality of adult films being made in L.A.'s grimy peep shows and studios. After a long search, they finally locate Niki working in hardcore pornographic films. Shocked by his daughter's situation, Jake confronts her on set, but she refuses to leave with him. The film culminates in an intense showdown between father and daughter.
