Synopsis
Based on Mary Wesley's bestselling novel, 'Harnessing Peacocks' follows Hebe, a young woman who is cast out by her family after becoming pregnant during a fiesta in Italy with an unidentified masked lover. Left to fend for herself and her son, Hebe moves to a Cornish seaside town where she supports herself by cooking for elderly women and maintaining relationships with a group of men dubbed 'peacocks' from Greek mythology. The story revolves around Hebe's life in this new community, her interactions with the 'peacocks', and their families, all while trying to uncover the identity of her son's father.
