Synopsis
In the story of 'High-Rise', set in 1975 London, a young doctor moves into an architectural marvel that houses London's elite upper class. The tower block begins to suffer from power outages and other malfunctions, leading to a descent into chaos among its residents. Drugs, drink, debauchery, murder, mayhem, and misogyny take over as class struggle becomes all too real.

Résumé
'High-Rise' is a 2015 dystopian drama film directed by Ben Wheatley, based on the 1975 novel of the same name by J.G. Ballard. The movie explores themes of class conflict and societal decay through the lens of a high-rise apartment block's rapid descent into disorder.
