Histoire
Ten years ago, Steven sees Melissa, 'the girl of his dreams', at a party but before he can approach her, his twin brother Rick swoops in and they fall in love. Steven represses his feelings by becoming a workaholic while Rick becomes a spineless bellboy at the Hotel de Love after being left at the altar by another girlfriend. Their parents arrive at the hotel for their anniversary, followed by Melissa with her current boyfriend Norman. The brothers see an opportunity to rekindle their long-lost feelings for Melissa. Also present are Alison the palm reader, Susie behind the counter, the owner/piano player, and a newlywed couple.
Résumé
'Hotel de Love' is a romantic comedy set in Australia during the mid-90s. The story revolves around twin brothers Steven and Rick who both secretly love the same woman, Melissa. After she leaves for college, their lives take different paths - Steven throws himself into work while Rick becomes a bellboy at the titular hotel after being left heartbroken. When Melissa returns with her boyfriend, the brothers see another chance to win her affection. The movie is filled with comedic twists and turns as various eccentric characters converge at the Hotel de Love.
