Synopsis
In 'Hysteria', directed by Rene Daalder, renowned actor Patrick McGoohan stars as a psychiatrist in charge of an insane asylum. The inmates are subjected to unconventional experiments using collective consciousness and surgically implanted chips, aiming to create ideal citizens. Under McGoohan's guidance, the patients become connected into a group mind, sharing each other's psychoses, dreams, and sexuality with disturbing and titillating consequences.
