Synopsis
In order to secure research funding for her studies, a scientist named Alma accepts an unconventional offer: she will live with a humanoid robot named Tom, designed to make her happy, for three weeks. The experiment aims to study human-robot interaction and relationships. Throughout their time together, Alma struggles with her feelings towards Tom, who is programmed to mimic human emotions and desires. As the days pass, Alma finds herself growing fond of Tom's companionship, while also questioning his capacity for genuine emotion and his ultimate purpose.
