Synopsis
Claire Dennison, happily married but unsatisfied sexually, acts on impulse when she sees her husband Jonathan dressed differently in a hotel lobby. Believing him to be a stranger named Roberto, she engages in kinky sex with him. They plan to meet again, but the next morning Claire discovers the man in her bed is not Jonathan but an imposter named Simon Phillips. Simon reveals himself to Claire as a psychopath obsessed with her, threatening her marriage and safety.

Résumé
Impulse (2008) is a psychological thriller about a woman's sexual fantasy leading to dangerous consequences. Directed by Charles T. Kanganis, the film stars Willa Ford as Claire Dennison, a successful advertising manager married to Jonathan Dennison, played by Adam Huss. The story revolves around Claire's affair with Simon Phillips (also Huss), a stranger who turns out to be a psychopath. The film explores themes of sexual frustration, deception, and obsession.
