Synopsis
In 'In the Land of Blood and Honey', set during the Bosnian War, Ajla, a Bosnian woman, is captured and taken to a Serbian barrack along with other women. The commander of the camp, Danijel, recognizes Ajla as she was someone he had pursued romantically before the war. He secretly protects her from harm and they rekindle their relationship amidst the harsh realities of the conflict.
